The Mersey Dee Alliance (MDA) is a partnership that supports strategic economic activity spanning the North Wales/North West England border. Its geographical area of focus is North East Wales, West Cheshire and Wirral.
The Mersey Dee Alliance consists of the following strategic partners:
- Cheshire West and Chester Council
- Flintshire County Council
- Glyndwr University
- University of Chester
- Welsh Government
- Liverpool City Region
- Wrexham County Borough Council
- North Wales Economic Ambition Board (NWEAB)
Cheshire West and Chester Council is the Accountable Body for the Partnership.
